Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 木質材料與設計學系研究所 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to use paper sludge as filler and polylactide (PLA) / polypropylene (PP)as matrix in order to manufacture biodegradable composites. The blending ratios of paper sludge/ polylactide (PLA) are 70/30、60/40、50/50.There are six combinations of composites. The target density and dimensions of the composites are 900 kg/m3 and 300mm ╳ 200mm ╳ 12mm, respectively.Hot- pressing pressure and temperature are 3.97 MPa and 175 ℃, respectively. The cold-pressing pressure after hot pressing is 1 MPa. The cold-pressing temperature is at room temperature. There are six combinations of composites. Tukey test showed the significance of differences. The thickness swelling of paper sludge / polylactide composites is higher than that of paper sludge / polypropylene composites. Board density, moisture content and thickness swelling are 0.87-0.91 g/cm3,3.15-4.01 % and 8.34-23.13 %, respectively. On mechanical properties, board internal bond strength, screw holding strength, bending strength, modulus of elasticity and wet bending strength are 0.20-0.47 MPa, 550.45-1118.75 N,13.72-24.21 MPa, 677.4-1314.73 MPa and 6.46-10.03 MPa, respectively.
