This study aimed to explore the visual-culture arts teaching in the junior high school at this stage, how junior high school teachers guiding students to understand visual culture and cultivating students to have the ability to interpret media advertising and to integrate the digital technology into the teaching procedure and teaching strategies of media advertising in teaching visual culture(newspaper, internet, television, and magazine,- the four kinds of video and image advertising), in addition to exploring the encountered problems in implementation process and seeking solutions to the methodology, and guiding students to conduct in-depth interpretation of media advertising and exploring students’ feeling after learning and their reaction to media advertising. The purpose of this study includes the following: 1. Understand students’ attitudes toward visual-culture arts teaching digital technology. 2. Analysis and comparison of students' interpretation and attitudes toward different media advertising (newspapers, internet, television, magazine). Through comprehensive analysis of various items of data, we obtained the following conclusions: 1. Of the various forms of media, students originally accepted “television advertising” most. 2. After teaching visual culture and arts through presentation of digital technology, “ a little better” is the students’ largest number of acceptance ; then followed by“very good.” 3. As regards the perception and attitude of students of different gender toward a variety of media advertising through digital technology, “interactive electronic whiteboards” gets the highest level of acceptance. 4. For students who like to use digital technology(e.g. via computer, electronic whiteboards) or traditional method in attending various media advertising courses, most of them tend to like method of digital technology in their classes. 5.
