Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 體育與健康休閒研究所 === 101 === Purpose: To examine the effects of unicycle sports to promote elementary students on attention during the classroom learning. After pretest phases, 40 elementary students were divided into experimental group (n = 20) and control group (n = 20). Two groups are evenly distributed with participants with the same age and gender. Methods: An experimental method with two treatments design study. The participants were random assigned into two treatments according to pretest. An attention-scale assessment was applied for evaluating students’ learning attention. The data was analyzed by SPSS system. Descriptive statistics was applied for establishing the subjects’ data and the independent sample t-test was for analyzing the unicycle-involved impact. The statistical significant level was set at p value .05. Results: Students participant in unicycle sports significantly outscored those not participant in unicycle sports. The results also revealed that the student who participated in the unicycle group showed significant higher attention and significant lower slapstick in classroom. Conclusions: The Unicycle learning was an effective method to promote student’s learning attention in the classroom.
