It purposed to figure out their current state, compare the difference under different context variables, discuss the relationship among them, and estimate the effect of job stress and coping strategy on life satisfaction of special education teachers. This study enrolled special education teachers as research population, distributed 200 questionnaires, and recycled 160 valid samples. The method adopted was questionnaire survey. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson product moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression were employed for statistical analysis. Findings of this study are as follows: 1. Special education teachers had medium job stress. For coping strategy, they inclined to take positive coping strategy instead of negative. They had above medium level of life satisfaction. 2. Special education teachers of different functions had significant difference in some aspects of job stress. 3. Special education teachers of different gender, age, marriage, and functions had significant difference in some aspects of coping strategy. 4. Special education teachers of different age and marriage had significant difference in some aspects of life satisfaction. 5. Most Special education teachers showed low negative correlation between job stress and life satisfaction. 6. Most special education teachers showed low to medium negative correlation between coping strategy and life satisfaction. 7. Special education teachers had predictive power in job stress and coping strategy against life satisfaction. Finally this study would propose specific suggestions to individuals, school units, relative administrative organizations, and future researches based on results and finding of this research.
