碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 輔導與諮商學系研究所 === 101 === The purpose of this research was to explore the predictive power among depression cognition and depression intension in adolescents. The samples are 768 junior high school students from Yunlin County. The questionnaire uses the following checklists: Depression Knowledge Questionnaire and Chinese version of the Beck Depression Inventory-II. We adopted aberrant response indices to understand students' misconceptions. The data is analyzed with methods such as descriptive statistics, cluster analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results of this research are as follows: (a) adolescents’ depression cognition are good, they have highest score in “depression treatment”. (b) Girls have stronger feeling about “negative attitude” than boys. (c) There is a significant difference in depression cognition between different ages. (d) There is a significant difference in aberrant response indices between different ages. (e) The “depression treatment” can predict depression intension. (f) Aberrant response indices can predict depression intension.
