This study tried to guide the participants to express their learning experience through verbal description, color selection and visual narratives (theme drawing). A questionnaire survey combined with open-ended questions was conducted for 136 participants. Sixty-seven of them were asked to visualize their ideas and thoughts about present and future school through theme drawing. The results reveal that : (1) students showed more positive attitude toward the school image whether for present experience or for future expectation; (2) they prefer warm colors, such as red or yellow, when imagining about school, for both present and future; and (3) they were more interested in the learning environment with better and advanced technology in the future imagination for school, therefore, relatively, the concern about interpersonal relationship decreased for future school imagination.
