In this study, the questionnaire titled “The Needs of Adult Education for Graduated Senior-Vocational-High-School Students with Intellectual Disabilities in Special Education Schools” consisted of two parts. One is demographic information on the subjects and the other investigates on the needs and importance of adult education. All of 323 students with intellectual disabilities who will graduate from senior-vocational-high-school in special education schools this year were chosen to proceed to our experiments. The experimental data was further analyzed by using the characteristics of sum, mean, percentage, and stander deviation of the descriptive statistics and t-test, one-way ANOVA, and simple regression of inferential statistics. The major contributions of this study were described as follows: 1. The needs of adult education for those graduated students achieved significant difference with students’ mentally retarded degree, parents’ breeding attitude and parents’ education degree and no significant difference with gender, family income and locations of school. 2. The correlation between the needs and importance of adult education was significantly positive. 3. The students’ mentally retarded degree, parents’ breeding attitude and parents’ education degree about the needs and importance of adult education achieved significant difference resulting in predictable functions. Finally, this study provided comments for the educational organization, schools, teachers, and the researchers. Jung-Chang Tang 唐榮昌 學位論文 ; thesis 156 zh-TW |
