Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 機電工程學系 === 101 === The purpose of this paper is to analyze the characteristics of the hydrostatic thrust bearing with membrane restrictors. The specifications of the developed hydrostatic thrust bearing consist that the outer diameter is 150 mm, load capacity is 600kg and stiffness is 100 kg/μm.
Firstly, we employ the simplified calculation method of the structure of a hydrostatic thrust bearing and the membrane restrictors. And then, the finite difference method of the hydrostatic bearing and double-pads multi recess circular pad thrust bearing performances will be analyzed . The influence of static analysis characteristics is also consist in different oil type、different restrictors gap of membrane restrictors、different restrictors thickness of membrane restrictors.
Finally, the Newmark Intergration Method and the Finite Difference Method, which takes into account the equilibrium of the mass flow rate and the squeeze film effect, are used to analyze the thrust bearing dynamic behaviors at each step.
In static analyzed the results of numerical calculations show that the thrust bearing has high capacity and stiffness by use low viscosity oil or restrictors thick of membrane restrictors. In dynamic analyzed the results of numerical calculations show that the thrust bearing has good dynamic response by use high viscosity oil.
