Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 電機工程學系 === 101 === With the rapid growth of information technology in recent years, learning knowledge relies not only on books but also on internet for more diverse and fast learning. Therefore, in order to increase the variety of teachings in the elementary school, teachers’ teaching methods have been substantially changed from conventional book-based teaching to information technology integrated teaching. Though students’ learning outcome is enhanced, most of the digital teaching materials, provided by textbook dealers, are not designed for students’ individual differences.
The Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (Moodle) software is applied in the study to construct a digital learning website for students’ math learning. The website contains 7 main parts, including material management, student management, discussion, homework evaluation, test evaluation, teaching feedback and curriculum management. The teaching material of each unit is self-designed, and the audio/video file of test question solving is provided in the exam bank for students to control learning progress and for parents to participate and understand learning progress.
The study, analyzing the result of pre and post exam, shows that the average grade of post exam is 10 points higher than the average grade of pre exam. The proposed digital learning platform is proved to enhance students’ self-learning without the limitation of time and space, especially for students with individual difference. The result also shows that students’ learning outcome is improved through the digital learning platform.
