Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 會計學系企業高階管理 === 101 === In past decade years, our local companies did OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) or ODM (Original Design Manufacture ring) for famous foreign companies. These ways of manufacture developed very rapidly and Taiwanese companies have a very good ability of manufacture. However, it caused that our local companies do not own the design and marketing ability. The profit is very low for doing OEM &; ODM. We have to think how to make the opportunity to do our own brand. We need to use the resource from our good technology, quality and then create the advantageous to maintain the present ways for doing the OEM &; ODM, but also making our brand to sell all over the world.
This study focus on AIRMAC company, brand is AIRMAC. From this case, we can know how AIRMAC company, Inc do OEM &; ODM, and also do their own brand “AIRMAC”. The below points are from this research.
1.The company has to do the different business strategy when in different position.
2.The basic terms for doing all OEM, ODM &; OBM together are manufacture and research &; development.
3.The key points of OBM are financial and marketing abilities.
4.The important ability from doing OEM &; ODM to doing OBM is marketing ability.
5.It needs the long time to plan for creating the brand.
6.The companies have to make the marketing concept into the culture of enterprise.
