Participants were the junior high school students in Taichung City, Changhua County, and Nantou County, and 1,209 questionaires turned out to be effective. The descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, MANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The major results were summarized as followed: First, the current status of personality traits of junior high school students showed a tendency to “agreeableness”,and “openness”. Second, the perceived parenting behavior among students is largely the “demanding.” Third, the deviant behavior of junior high school students was the low severity at present. Fourth, in terms of personality traits of junior high school students, perceived parenting styles and their deviant behaviors, there were partially significant differences in gender, socioeconomic status, and family structure. Fifth, there is a significant correlation between personality traits of junior high school students and perceived parenting styles. Sixth, there is a significant correlation between personality traits of junior high school students and their deviant behaviors. Seventh, there is a significant correlation between perceived parenting styles and the deviant behaviors. Eighth, neuroticism, extraversion, openness, and conscientiousness can predict students’ deviant behaviors. Ninth, responsive factor and demanding factor can predict students’ deviant behaviors. Based on these results, this study provided suggestions to educational administrators, school administrators, teachers in junior high schools, parents and further researhers. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationships among personality traits of junior high school students, perceived parenting styles and their deviant behaviors.
