The participants were 839 ninth grade students of five counties in central Taiwan(i.e., Changhua County, Taichung City, Nantou County, Yunlin County, and Miaoli County)and surveyquestionnairewere used to examine the student’s intention for directlyfurther education. Statistical methods of descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product moment correlation and multiple regressionwere utilized to analyze data. Results obtained in this study were as follows: first, there were significant difference in the various dimensions of the behavioral intentions for directly further educationamong ninth grade students in comprehensive junior-senior high schools students, depending on gender, cities and counties, family type, parental education level and academic level. Second, the factors of self-interest and altruismaffected the attitude of students’ directlyfurther education, and altruism was the best predictor. Third, the factors of main groups and sub-groupsaffected the attitude of students’ directly further education, and sub-groupswas the best predictor.Fourth, the factor of convenience states and self-capabilityaffected the attitude of students’ directly further education and convenience states was the best predictor.Final, attitude toward directly further education, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control can positively predict students’ behavioral intentionfor directlyfurther education in comprehensive junior-senior high schools. Based on the findings, the suggestions were made for teachers, parents, schools and future researchers. Hsin-Yi Kung 龔心怡 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 118 zh-TW |
