Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 商業教育學系 === 101 === This study was to investigate the 9th graders’ money attitude and financial educational cognition. The research utilized questionnaire as a research method. The researcher processed questionnaire with purposive sampling. The total valid samples were 803, and the research subjects involved 28 classes enrolled in 14 junior high schools in Tainan City. The instruments used in this study included the money value and attitude scale and the financial educational scale. The collected data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, Independent Samples T-Test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. The findings were listed as follows: 1. Boys tended to view money as power and fame than girls did. On the vision of money usage, girls had more clear idea about budgets and tended to be cautious. 2. Girls scored higher on financial cognition than boys did. 3. 9th graders without allowance were more cautious of the money usage. 4. The 9th graders who had the habit of saving money were more cautious of the money usage and had more clear idea about budgets. They scored higher on the financial scope of knowledge and saving. 5. The 9th graders whose weekly allowances were less than one hundred dollars were more cautious of the usage of money than the students whose weekly allowances were more than two hundred and one dollars. Besides, the 9th graders whose weekly allowances were more than two hundred and one dollars emphasized more on the quality of shopping than the students whose weekly allowances were less than one hundred dollars. 6. The 9th graders with mid-high socio-economic status (SES) emphasized more on the quality of shopping and the brands than those with low socio-economic status (SES). 7. The 9th graders’ money attitude was obviously related with their financial educational cognition in every aspect.
