As far as we know, there are no research results of noncoherent block codes for block fading channels. In this thesis, we focus on this subject. First, short noncoherent block codes without structures are searched by computers. Then, a scheme of long noncoherent block codes composed of short noncoherent block codes is proposed. Finally, the obtained codes are concatenated with a turbo code for further improving the error performance. Simulation results show that, compared with PSAM, our codes have better error performance.
