Sports centers offer variety of indoor and outdoor leisure activities. Taipei city government recognized. There is increased number of interest for having additional recreation activity.Thus, Taipei city government intends to held a water sport recreation activity nearby Taipei Da Jia Riverside Park .
This plan requires listing and defining the water sports activities, selecting appropriate activities and goal. In order to ensure high productivity by using limited natural resource and apply practicality to reach maximum efficiency.
This research is based on related documentation,interview with government official,specialist, and activity manager.Cross analysis was done to verify its practicality. PEST and SWOT analysis was performed to provide in this study. Which includes strategic and management planning, present conclusion of research and propose pragmatic suggestions.It will be a reference guide for water sports activities planning and setup up regulations.
Holding an activity with well organization structure, regulation and specific business strategy will provide quality, comfortable entertainment to the public. It ensures safety of the people; protect the environment, reasonable cost and etc. A well plan recreation activity will attract more tourists and community participation, increase revenue of organizer and city government’s administration efficiency.It creates tripe win situation.
