To understand the system of optically injected semiconductor lasers, nonlinear dynamics of the system is first analyzed and a mapping of different nonlinear dynamical states is obtained .Next, the conversion capability of the proposed system is studied through both static(no data included) and dynamic (data are included) analyzes. The static analysis investigates the conversion efficiency of the proposed system. The dynamic analysis studies the quality of data after format conversion.
