The video sharing service is growing up with YouTube. In the 3D movie craze, YouTube also release the 3D video sharing service. Users can enjoy the 3D effect in red-cyan video on website that uses the red-cyan glasses. But, YouTube didn’t support to play the 3D video on a 3D display. In this thesis, we design a 3D media player that based on the Microsoft media foundation library. And we design an ActiveX controller according to the specification of ActiveX. This controller can embed in a website and play the video on website. We also modify the media foundation transform to get the video raw data. And we arrange the RGB sub-pixels in the video raw.
