However some of developers surrounded the open space by changing buildings form and position, let public open space transform to private garden, stadium, guardroom, and etc. The rule of law lack method to examined the open space form by user point of view. This makes urban visual environment became disorder and deprived public welfare by incentive zoning. This research try to establish a procedure to examine the form of open space along the street by the view point of user, to figure out what if changing the amount of release area and the form of open space to effect the urban environment. In addition to realize the problem of the law about examine the open space at incentive zoning in Taiwan, the type of open space, the distance of visual observation(100×100m), and correspond with human scale(0.6×0.6m) has been defined by literature. This research with an example of Taichung train station renewal, which the area implement the incentive zoning. Through the research design, this article frame a examined module about the type of open space, to select the best vision of open space by Depthmap. The connectivity(CN) and visual integration(Rn) represent the visual scope and visual strength. Two values integrated to calculate the coefficient of determination (R-squared), each group compared the value with each other, more higher vision value represent the better form of open space. This article made three models for visual analysis: first is without released the open space for public, second is release sidewalk without ceiling in public open space, third is released all of open space area for public. The result shows that released all of open space area for public is almost higher than each group, but release sidewalk without ceiling in public open space is more reality for public and resident. This article proves that through the procedure of visual analysis can examine the form of open space, by figures and numbers can more realize the inside structure of urban space.
