Driving safety of the elderly has become an important issue to discuss. Elderly people proportion of Taiwan traffic accident death is about 26.3%; Tainan is about 33.6% higher than Taiwan average. Among elderly drivers should be given to explore, because they are the high-risk groups. To improve elderly people traffic safety environment, previous studies are aimed at factors of traffic fatality and driver behavior, usually focus on elderly drivers themselves. Therefore, unlike previous studies, this study’s questionnaire answered by elderly drivers’ family members. First, because when or whether elderly drivers stop driving is concerning not only to the drivers themselves but also to their family members. Second, government needs to enhance force in elderly traffic accident prevention. In this study, we will use an elderly drivers’ Everyday Behavior Questionnaire (EBQ), and answered by elderly drivers’ family members. The total effective sample size for this study is 407, we use many statistical methods, and our hypotheses are established. Because our hypotheses are established, we create two chapters in the Tainan Everyday Behavior Questionnaire and scoring tables for the questionnaire. The main objectives of this study are established the Tainan Everyday Behavior Questionnaire, and confirm family members are important when promoting elderly traffic accident prevention.
