Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 工程科學系專班 === 101 === Construction a floor-plan for a smart home is generally done by the professionals who build the customized proprietary smart home environment. If one is to build a smart home by oneself, to build a computerized floor-plan would be an issue. This study proposed a graphical floor-planning interface which provides an easy way for users to construct and to configure their smart homes. Users are not required to have technical expertise skills to design a floor-plan of their smart homes. By using the proposed system, users can make use of the pictures taken by their digital cameras or smartphones and after a few minutes of system operating instructions, a user can use the system to construct a unique floor-plan of his or her smart home easily. We use heuristic evaluation to evaluate the user interface. We also have volunteers to test use the tool. The best case(a 24-year-old young man) took only 5 minutes, while the slowest case(a 40-year-old Adult) took 15 minutes.
