This has resulted in not only the waste of resources on earth, but also inconvenience to users. This situation can be improved if a power converter with adjustable input voltage can be successfully developed. This thesis focuses on the research of switching power supply (SPS), using the IC-TL494 to control the duty cycle of pulse width modulation (PWM) signal. The circuit architecture was designed to complete two studies “buck converter with adjustable output voltage” and “full-bridge DC-AC converter”. In the research of buck converter with adjustable output voltage, when duty cycle is varying in the range of 0%~93%, the output DC voltage will be varying in the range of 0V~45V, which is different from most converters currently on the market with fixed voltage output. In addition, in the research of full-bridge DC-AC converter, using full-bridge circuit architecture to achieve a DC-AC converter working in DC 12V and produced AC 100V. The experimental results also confirmed that the two studies results with validity and reliability. In conclusion, the article proposes the directions for the future of research, including the line regulation and load regulation, feedback circuit design, improve the output waveform and reduce the area of the circuit board and so on.
