We got the eyes images by through a high-resolution camera. First, the color eye images were converted to grayscale manner and clustered them into three classes by using of fuzzy c-means algorithm. Then the Sobel operator will be applied to detect the edges. Therefore, the sclera-conjunctiva region will be obtained using the morphological dilation, holes filling, and connectivity algorithm. Finally, a modified cone responses algorithm was proposed to extract the blood vessel from the sclera-conjunctiva. The experiment results show that our proposed method can effectively capture the Sclera-conjunctiva to find out the blood vessels.
