| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 高階經理人碩士在職專班 === 101 === Taking the growth of economy recovery after World War II, the small shops from Din Fan Pou, Lugang, and Changhua have developed to become a booming plumbing hardware industry, all clustered in an area that plays an important role in the world plumbing supply-chain, such that the district has been recognized as the “faucets’ hometown”. With the recent surge of economic development, free trade, information, communication, and logistics in globalization, Taiwan plumbing industries has encountered difficulties in the competition against China, particularly some new companies having lesser competitive advantages of higher labor cost and weaker resources.
The author, as an entrepreneur of years who possesses both the understanding and knowledge in the plumbing industry, would like to benchmark the successful scenarios from the "A-Team", an initiative innovation alliance of Taiwan bicycle industries, to advocate the “P-Team” of the Taiwan plumbing industries, by using a more specialized and centralized alliance system that reinforces with the government, academic research resources, and the relevant industries, as well as for the betterment of Taiwan plumbing industries in more production of economy scale, value chain integration, innovative material and application, key components & new product development, marketing and logistics. Eventually, utilizing these assets can present the synergy of integration to promote the overall value of Taiwan plumbing industry to outweigh the international competition.
