Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 高階經理人碩士在職專班 === 101 === The purpose of the paper is to develop a performance evaluation model for product innovation by using the Balance Scorecard Concept (BSC) to measure the product innovation performance. In practice the innovation performance of the R&D department merely pays attention on focuses the products sale, client’s satisfaction and market share; it lacks to evaluate the product innovation performance in developing stages. Besides, the past literature focused on the issue of the product development evolution and process, most of these literatures did not discuss the product innovation performance. Therefore, my study attempted to develop a performance evaluation model for product innovation, and to construct the 32 measurement indexes through reviewing literature. Then, an empirical case study, blowing-filling-capping machinery, was conducted to measure its innovation performance; here the performance evaluation matrix and Shewhart’s control chart were utilized to identify the lowest indexes of the innovation performance. Finally, the Quality Function Development (QFD) technique was utilized to facilitate the engineers proposing and analyzing improving solutions. The results of this study provide a scientific method as references for the new product innovation, and as the new model for balance scorecard application.
