Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 環境工程學系所 === 101 === In Taiwan, domestic wastewater is usually treated with activated Sludge processes. MBR, however, is a promising alternative wastewater treatment process for the advantages of lower land usage and better pollutants removal efficiency. This study focused on the application of MBR treating simulated domestic wastewater.MBR system was operated with a continuous aeration module. The HRT of MBR system was controlled at 48 hours. The simulated wastewater containing BOD of 195 mg/L was continuously fed into the MBR aeration lank at 300 L/day. The F/M ratios for BOD and COD were 0.101 kgBOD/kg MLSS day and 0.114 kg COD/kg MLSS day, respectively. The average MLSS concentration in the MBR aeration tank was about 963 mg/L. The effluent BOD and COD concentrations were about 5 and 10 mg/L and with the average removal efficiencies of 98 and 96%, respectively. Because the pore size of the PVDF membrane was 0.03 um, the SS concentration in the effluent was usually very low. In most effluent samples, SS concentration was ND. The low SS concentration demonstrated one of the advantages of MBR system.
