The effect of steel column on various fire conditions which could affect the steel mechanical property, as well as those of steel column critical loads, is considered.
Using particle swarm optimization technique, the statistical quantities of critical load of steel structure on various fire conditions are obtained. It is shown that the bearing capability of structure is reduced up to 20% when structure temperature is rising to 400℃ and it is reduced up to 49% when structure temperature is rising to 600℃.
