Description
Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 精密機電工程研究所 === 101 === ABSTRACT Most of the current researches about detecting technology and hardware on human body detection went for motion detection. Very few studies related to static human body detection. This study proposes a design of detection device for detecting static human bodies with active detection technology. It is a non-contact measuring method and uses infrared radiation from human bodies. After detecting the emissions of the radiation from human body, a proposed algorithm is executed in order to achieve the detection of static human bodies. The detection device consists of a pyroelectic sensor, a rotary mask module, a USB DAQ module, a relay module, and a human machine interface written with LabVIEW. The pyroelectric sensor is usually used for motion detection and distance detection. In order to use the pyroelectric sensor for detecting static human bodies, it is necessary to design a rotary mask module. Based on the concept of relative motion, the module can detect infrared signals from static human bodies. Then, the signals are presented on a human machine interface with LabVIEW software and are analyzed via USB DAQ module. Finally, the output signal is generated to control an air-conditioner through the relay module. On the purpose of detecting static human bodies precisely, the detection device is applied on sets of experiments for emulating the heat sources of human bodies. Aluminum cans filled with hot water replace human bodies. Compare the heat distribution of cans with different sensing distances and spaces between two cans. The result of the experiments shows that the values of signals decrease as the sensing distance gets larger. The values of signals don’t vary a lot with different horizontal-spaced cans. The results in this study can provide valuable references for developing a human detecting device. Keywords:human body detection, active detection, pyroelectic sensor, human machine interface
