As a result, the environmental awareness has realized that only sustainable and stable ecological resources can support the development of social economy of humans. This study investigated the greenhouse gases emission of a glass container manufacturer according to ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and quantified the greenhouse gas emission sources during the year of 2011. The quantification results were analyzed to determine the greenhouse gas emission amount and the energy consumption of the glass container manufacturer. Based on the results, measures were also proposed for reducing greenhouse gases. This study found that the greenhouse gases emitted in 2011 were mainly CO2, CH4, N2O, and HFCs. The emission of CO2 was 78,261.60 MT CO2e/year, accounting for 99.71% of the total emission; the emission of CH4 was 92.12 MT CO2e/year, accounting for 0.12% of the total emission; the emission of N2O was 134.46 MT CO2e/year, accounting for 0.17% of the total emission; the emission of HFCs was 0.09 MT CO2e/year, accounting for 0.00% of the total amount.
