Summary: | 碩士 === 美和科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 101 === In order to understand the believers’ attitude to the management strategy of the temple, the study took the followers of Pu-Yuan Temple in Hsin-Yuan Township, Pingtung County as the research objects. By way of stratified sampling, there were 350 samples chosen for questionnaire investigation. While there were 309 responses with 88% response rate, but when 13 invalid questionnaires without complete finish were deducted, there were only 296 valid questionnaires with 84% response rate. Then, the method of focus group interview was adopted, and Independent-Sample t Test, one way ANOVA, and Scheffe's method were applied at first, followed with the method of focus group (6 members) interview. By questionnaire investigation and focus group interview, the actual attitudes among the Pu-Yuan Temple’s believers of different background toward the temple’s management strategy variables in visual, emotional, functional and financial aspects were collected.
The study proposed the conclusions based on results of this study as follows: (1) the believers’ visual, emotional, functional and financial attitudes toward the temple’s management strategy reached middle to high level, especially the emotional attitude reached the highest. (2) The female believers’ visual, emotional, functional and financial attitudes toward the temple were higher than those of the male ones. (3) The visual, emotional, functional and financial attitudes among the believers older than 60 were higher than those of whom were under 59. (4) The visual, emotional, functional and financial attitudes among the believers under the education of junior high school were higher than those of whom were above senior high school. (5) The visual, emotional, functional and financial attitudes among the housewife believers were higher than those of believers with other occupations. (6) The visual, emotional, functional and financial attitudes among the believers whose monthly income were under 10,000 were higher than those of with other monthly salaries. (7) The divorced or widowed believers’ visual, emotional, functional and financial attitudes toward the temple’s management strategy were significantly higher than those of the single or married believers. (8) The Pu-Yuan Temple’s management was in accordance with the CORPS mode of operation in nonprofit organizations suggested by Prof. Szutu, Da-Hsien.
In the end, the research provided eight suggestions based on the above mentioned conclusions.
