Description
Summary:碩士 === 明道大學 === 材料科學與工程學系碩士班 === 101 === In this study, Nano-SiO2 and Methacrylate (MMA) were formed the SiO2/PMMA nanocomposites by in situ polymerization, and this nanocomposites was coated the glass substrate by coating rod to form a SiO2/PMMA thermal curing monolayer. We controlled the amount of addition, including unmodified Nano- SiO2 and modified Nano- SiO2 to discuss thermal curing monolayer of the SiO2/PMMA resulting from different aspects of the effect. Described as follows:The phenomenon of thermal degradation by TGA was analysis; The mechanical property of hardness was tested by pencil; The property of adhesion was tested by Cross-cut tester; The light transmittance was tested by UV-Vis Spectroscopy. In addition, FTIR was employed to determine whether silane coupling agents react with Nano- SiO2. The morphology of nanoparticles status including unmodified Nano-SiO2 and modified Nano-SiO2 by SEM was observed. In the results, silane coupling agent MPTS was successful reacted with surface of Nano-SiO2. Additionally, the hardness and adhesion of the SiO2/PMMA thermal curing monolayer could improve because the addition of unmodified Nano-SiO2.
