To increase the competitive forces, many countries in the world signed the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and the Regional Trade Agreements (RTA) which help lower customs tariffs and reduce trade barriers. Taiwan’s textile industry gradually lost the international market share because the industry had high costs of corporate operation and could not compete with countries which had a lower labor cost, using the strategic advantage of high quantity and low-price promotion. This study, using Taiwan’s declining textile industry as a sample, implements the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) and the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchical Process (FAHP) to analyze the operation status of the textile industry. The data obtained from this study can be used as a recommendations for business strategies. They can be provided for the business owners as references for the organizational change and operation management in the future. It will make Taiwan textile industry restore it’s prosperity back in the 1960s.
