The semi-structured interview in qualitative research was adopted as the study method; the samples were chosen from the bailiffs in Tao-Yuan District Prosecutors Office. As result from the the anaysis of in-depth interviewsin this study, the following conclusions were made: 1. The effect of the theory of tokenism could be demonstration that when women bailiffs in the masculine workplace. According to the result of the anaysis of in-depth interviewsin this study, women bailiffs have much pressure to be devoted toperform well in the masculine workplace; the contrast between women bailiffs and men bailiffs could strengthenthe cultural boundaryof men bailiffs; the roles and behavior of women bailiffs would assimilate into men bailiffs in order to acquire the identification of men bailiffs. 2. The situational responses of tokenism when women bailiffs in the masculine workplace could be understood from three aspects: “work cognition”, “work performance”, and “work assignment”. Acorrding to the anaysis of in-depth interviewsin this study, the situational responses of tokenism when women bailiffs in the masculine workplace from the aspect of work cognition: the opinions of women bailiffs are similar to men bailiffs after and before occupation; the aspect of work performance: the identification of women bailiffs about the phenomenon of tokens in the masculine workplace; the aspect of work assignment: the agreement of most men bailiffs about unfair work assignment; the unfair work assignment was the one of the result of tokens in women bailiffs’ opinion. 3. The women bailiffs adopted strategies of being up against the impact in the masculine workplace. According to the result of the anaysis of in-depth interviewsin this study, the women bailiffs adopted strategies of being up against the impact in the masculine workplace contained to be devoted toperform excellentability of workin order to reduce hostile insight and to be devoted toassimilate intothe advantage group in order to reduce unusual insight in order to acquire the identification of the advantage group. Based on the study results, some suggestions were proposed for the reference of government institutions and future researchers.
