Middle class mothers create particular strategies in pedagogic practice in their children education. There are three main aspects to analyze the pedagogic practice of middle class mothers in this paper.:
1. Concept and implementation of education
2. Establish the educational resource of school
3. Establish learn assistant system
This research has adopted focus group interviews by eight middle class mothers in Neihu District, Taipei. The main finding of this research was as follows:
The middle class mothers are the major agents of children education, and the critical practicer of social reproduction of children. They also played an important role to their children cultural reproduction. Middle class mothers making cultural capital work for their children , and they are the agents of social-class reproduction.
Middle class mothers are showing unique style on normalize children’s behavior, parental supervision, school participation, construct educational strategy and cultivated habitus for schooling in this research.
