Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 101 === The purpose of this study was to explore the present status and the relationships between second specialty studies and job satisfaction for private vocational high school teachers in Taoyuan City, and to understand the different senses of teachers with different background. Survey research method and interview was adopted on the private vocational high school teachers in Taoyuan City in the 2012 school year. Stratified random sampling was applied 530 questionnaires of the totle of 570 copies administered were retrieved and 513 copies of those retrieved were valid. Data were established and analyzed through statistic approaches, including frequency distribution, percentage, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Person product-moment correlation, etc.And choose 3 teachers who have second specialty studies to interview. The main conclusions are as follows: 1. The private vocational high school teachers perceptions of second specialty studies were strongly positive, with the feeling of “ professional growth” the highest. 2. The degree of job satisfaction among the private vocational high school teachers is above the average, with the feeling of “ interpersonal relationship” the highest. 3. There were significant effects in perceptions of second specialty studies between the private vocational high school teachers for the variables of gender, educational background, teaching seniority, position, school size. 4. There were significant effects in perceptions of job satisfaction between the private vocational high school teachers for the variables of gender, educational background, teaching seniority. 5. Second specialty studies and job satisfaction were partial positive interrelated. 6. Working environment can be used to predict the levels of the perceptions of second specialty studies Finally, based on the conclusions of this study, some suggestions for the Manager education administrations, school administrative teams, teachers, and future studies.
