碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 101 === The purpose of the study was to explore the present status of the relationships between personality traits and cyberbullying for public elementary school higher grade students in Taoyuan county, to compare the differences between personal backgrounds and two factors, and to analyze the relationships between them. The study population were 2012 school year public elementary school higher grade students in Taoyuan county, applied stratified random sampling with 836 questionnaires, returned 834, and effect samples were 739. Then, analyses were descriptives, t-test, 1-Way MANOVA, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling. The main results were summarized as follows: 1.The current status of personality traits of public elementary school higher grade students in Taoyuan county was medium level. 2.The current status of cyberbullying of public elementary school higher grade students in Taoyuan county was lower level. 3.There were significant differences of personality traits with some students’ backgrounds. 4.There was significant difference on personality about cyberbullying. 5.The personality traits of public elementary school higher grade students in Taoyuan county had lower positive influence on cyberbullying. 6.The model about relationship between personality traits and cyberbullying was not exist. This study made some suggestions for administrators, school, family, and future research based upon research conclusions.
