碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 風險管理與保險學系碩士在職專班 === 101 === This research studies the influence of nuclear wastes on the need and recognition for buying cancer insurances on Orchid Island.The malignant tumor is the number one cause of the Top 10 deaths On Orchid Island, Taitung county in 2011.There are not enough medical resources on off-shored Orchid Island.The indigenous people on Orchid Island cannot get any cancer treatment. So the demand of buying cancer insurances on Orchid Island is high and worth studying further.This research studies is expected to issue 370 questionnaires.The recovery is 342 valid questionnaires,and rate of 92.43% According to the results of this study, it is suggested that the government and insurance companies consider the following: 1.To offer compensation to the patients on Orchid Island for their transportation and the prescription drugs. 2.To launch a Cancer Insurance Project.
