Color and appearance of skin is a very important issue in medical diagnosis. Example of the pigmented skin lesions, visual observation is the first step to the disease diagnosis. The detailed analysis of the skin tissues are excised from the bio-specimen clinically,. However, the patients were affected by the pain and the risk of scarring.
The optical analysis on skin color covers many areas of technology, such as: medicine, cosmetic applications and image synthesis. In order to improve the accuracy of the optical diagnostic techniques, more accurate model in order to understand the interaction of light with the skin is necessary. Non-invasive skin optical diagnostic techniques are usually non-pain and off the risk scars in the experiment; there is no need to consider the problems of time and place. Otherwise, the result is often more objective.
Different skin types, gender and age distinction are the essential factors to understand the following issues: (1) whether the age and sex can be distinguished by the spectral differences and (2) reflectance and color shades on the physiological relevance by the skin spectrum measured.
The aim of the study is not for different reflection model to detect the reflected spectrum of human skin, but the light in turbid medium diffusion theory model to reduce the scattering coefficient and the average scattering intensity of the skin. The human skin is a complex structure, we use the model analysis to simulate the optical absorption characteristics with the skin, and reduce the scattering wavelength diffuse reflection.
