The purpose of this study was to figure out the relationship among school innovative management, learning organization and school effectiveness in elementary schools and to analyze the differences between the school innovative management, learning organization and school effectiveness according to their background variables. The study adopted questionnaires and took the teachers of the
public elementary schools located in Taichung City as subjects. The survey data
was analyzed by various statistical methods including t-test, one-way ANOVA,
Scheffe method, Pearson correlation and the multiple regression analysis using
SPSS statistical software. The conclusions were summarized below:
1. The current conditions of the school innovative management, learning
organization and school effectiveness of elementary schools in Taichung City were
good.
2. The elementary school teachers’ perceptions of the school innovative
management and learning organization in Taichung City showed significant
differences in age, educational background, seniority, position and school scale.
3. School effectiveness of elementary schools in Taichung City varied significantly
from different positions. But there was no significant difference in age, educational
background, seniority, school scale or school location.
4. There were high positive correlations between school innovative management,
learning organization and school effectiveness of elementary schools in Taichung City.
5. The school innovative management, and learning organization can effectively
forsee school effectiveness of elementary schools in Taichung City.
In the end, this research provided related advices for reference to educational
authorities, elementary schools and follow-up researchers.
