碩士 === 康寧大學 === 休閒資源暨綠色產業研究所 === 101 === Abstract The purposes of this study are to investigate the elementary school teachers’ ecotourism awareness and the implementation of low-carbon tourism of outdoor teaching; to further clarify the relationships between elementary school teachers’background and ecotourism awareness, outdoor teaching and low-carbon tourism of outdoor teaching. Based on the data from Department of Education, 500 present elementary school teachers in Yunlin County were randomly selected as the research subjects. With questionnaire survey, a total of 465 samples were retrieved for statistical analysis. The descriptive statistics, Independent-Samples t-test, Pearson correlation(r) and analysis of variance （ANOVA）are used to analyze the collected data. The resultsare as follows：The main resources of ecotourism and low-carbon tourism information for the elementary school teachers in Yunlin County are from newspapers, magazines, television and the Internet.The elementary school teachers in Yunlin County generally have good awareness of ecotourism. The elementary school teachers in Yunlin County are very understanding and very seriously in the implementation of low-carbon tourism of outdoor teaching. There is a positive correlation betweenthe ecotourism awareness of the elementary school teachers in Yunlin County and the implementation of low-carbon tourism of outdoor teaching.In the background variables of the elementary school teachers, there are significant differences in the "gender", "age", "highest education degree", "graduate department", "years of teaching", and "ecotourism or low-carbon tourism experience". It indicates that teachers with different backgrounds having different ecotourism awareness.Male teachers have better ecotourism awareness than female ones. This study suggests that the government should be more public awareness, promote low-carbon eco-tourism or tourism-related activities, to cover most towns in the eco-tourism information gap; schools should apply more low-carbon eco-tourism or tourism-related projects or activities, and for outdoor teaching arrangements and planning, implementation should focus on carbon reduction; it proposes that teachers should be more involved in eco-tourism or tourism-related projects or low-carbon activities to enhance awareness of eco-tourism and teaching effectiveness.
