The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between environment protection measures and financial means adopted by enterprises, using game theory. The research results show that the introduction of financial means is considered necessary. The financial means are stimulating to market players, yet not compelling. The utilization of financial means allows the full play of the market mechanism and brings higher economic efficiency. Also, financial means are relatively more predictive. The last part contains recommendations from the author: The banking and insurance industries have to actively fulfill their environmental responsibilities. Actions should be taken to expedite the innovation of environmental financial products and the development of a green economy. It is also necessary to build up an integrated and sophisticated environmental economic policy system.
