At the time of site test for power transformer, conformity errors phenomenon often occurs owing to interference signal, equipment and human factors etc; so the study conducts actual measurement to establish a standard measuring procedure for transformer fingerprint, where a test for transformer winding deformation is conducted, to supplement transformer failure probability that probably caused by stressing on transformer insulation detection. Through comparison of transformer fingerprint, transformer maintenance can be effectively performed. Under test error tolerance, in test results of high repetitive rate of transformers of same phase of the same maker, almost uniqueness is found, where the best reference in comparison is found, and it can be explained that to establish a complete measuring procedure for transformer fingerprint is very important.
