Description
Summary:碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 101 === In recent years, the rapid development of power electronic technology, which causes great quantity harmonic current to inject into power system due to increase non-linear loads. Therefore this paper presents the optimal design and analysis of passive filters to reduce investment cost as well as meet the current harmonics restriction standards of Taiwan Power Company for improving the power factor. According as the total harmonic current distortion to be the objective function, the Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm was used to design the optimal capacity distribution. Using the cost function of passive filters and the commercial specifications of capacitor, the simulated annealing method was adopted to design the lowest cost of passive filters. Thus combined method could shorten the time of analyzing and found the optimal solution to improve the power quality. The program of this paper was be written in Visual Basic and simulated as windows system to let the operator design easily. The practical case study will be presented to demonstrate the applicability of the methodology.
