Hence, this thesis focuses on studying the current situation of human resources in Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services Company – VMS (hereinafter abbreviated as VMS), from which finding out solutions to improve the human resources training practices for a higher quality training outcome of the company. This thesis is based on the fundamental research methodology of historical dialectics combined with some other methods such as: interviews and double-checks; analysis and synthesis; qualitative and quantitative methods. First, the author introduces the general human resources training practices in businesses (graph 1.1). Due to all businesses conform to this general training and development process, the surveys conducted at VMS are based those contents including: overview, analyzing the current situation of the human resources training, the implementation of the human resoureces training plans and the human resources training practices at VMS. The research outcomes indicate many shortcomings in the human resources training practices such as not having a clearcut strategy in human resources training and simultaneously, the training results have not satisfied requested targets of the company. Upon recognizing those shortcomings above, the author suggests specific solutions to improve the human resources training quality for VMS in the next coming 5 years such as: restructuring human resources, developing new organizing and assessing procedures, etc. and some other recommendations. Subjectively, this thesis has mentioned and contributed some theories and practical solutions to improve the human resources training quality of VMS. Besides, this thesis may be referred as a useful source of reference to researches and applications of companies presently doing business in Vietnam.
