Therefore, this research has a discussion about this, that is, it learns what factors can affect uses’ intention of using such mobile communication software. To explore the antecedents, this research discusses, with means-end chain approach, how the design features including system quality and social presence affect the value or cost perceived by users, such as perceived usefulness, perceived playfulness, perceived compatibility and perceived risk, and further affect users’ attitude and intention of use. It conducted an Internet survey, collecting 396 effective responses, and analyzed them with PASW Statistics 18. The result shows the system quality of the mobile communication software has a significant positive impact on perceived playfulness; the social presence has a significant positive impact on perceived usefulness and perceived compatibility; perceived usefulness, perceived playfulness and perceived compatibility have significant positive impact on users’ attitude; users’ attitude has a significant positive impact on the intention of use.
