The demand for energy increases day by day as well. Among the several energies, green energy would be the developing focus, and it could see the better prospects in the field of application of solar energy. However, due to the bad efficiency of power generation of solar panel, people produced much auxiliary equipment to raise its efficiency. The common methods to generate solar energy include the focus and track of solar thermal power.
In this thesis, it focuses on the Polar type condenser active tracking system with low energy consumption and high accuracy. The parts of controlling methods include open-loop, closed-loop and integration of open-loop and closed-loop. And it records the derived data transmitted by Zigbee by using paperless recorder to inspect the sundial side-play amount, the temperature changing of the position of focus, the amount of attenuation of efficiency etc. to investigate and find out the appropriate controlling method to assemble Stirling Engine. According to the experiment results, integration of open-loop and closed-loopcombines the advantages of both open-loop and closed-loop. It showed perfect result for its stability, energy surplus, the rate of profit and loss and the gaining wattage per seconds during the long-time experiment procedure which means its compatibility for being the controlling device for sun tracking system assembling Stirling Engine. We look forward having some contribution to the development and application of solar energy industry.
