Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 國際企業研究所 === 101 === A firm’s fulfilling its corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become a new competitive advantage of a firm. This study explores how the fulfillment of CSR would impact the firm performance based on the CSR framework of stakeholder and the analysis of quantile regression. Contrast to the earlier CSR framework comprising only of economic, social, and environmental dimensions, we include the fourth dimension, corporate governance, to evaluate a firm’s CSR contributions to stakeholders. Our results find that CSR has a positive impact on firm performance. Moreover, the result of quantile regression indicates that the impact of CSR would change with the quantile of the dependent variables, indicating a positive, non-linear relationship between CSR and firm performance.
