The silver nanoparticles are reduced via chemical reduction, protecting agent stabilized the growth of Ag particle and crystallized via thermal treatment. Results revealed that the diameter and amount of the fcc-structured Ag are significantly dependent on the concentrations of AgNO3, reductants and protecting agent. As compared with degraded PAN, when the concentration of AgNO3/DMF is 1M, the as-spun PAN-PVP/Ag composite nanofiber exhibits high transmittance (25% ~ 65%) (The transmittance are dependent on the degree pyrolysis of PAN) and low resistance (0 - 1x106 Ω/□) after heat treatment at 400 ℃ for 30 min, which is mainly contributed by the thermal degradation of PAN.
