Thus, information support and decision-making system play a very important role, e.g., enterprise resources planning (ERP) system is an integrated decision support system for resolving enterprise resources; if launched, it can make effective integration and reduce production cost for the enterprise in the management.
Nevertheless, many enterprises, when launching system, often encounter lots of problems, and in turn result in more derived problems when the system is launched. This study expecting discussion case enterprise which meets problems when launched ERP system, and transforming enterprise a paper notes into electronic records, it makes e-business more meet enterprise needs. In doing so, enterprise operation, business, management and customer relationship can formed a complete electronic business system.
To enable ERP system to lunch successfully, this study conducts case company to launch SAP B1 system’s complete process. This can make physical operation process according to SAP B1 system model, using the combination of ASAP system launch methodology and project management, from the start pre-launch preparation steps of business process analysis, system analysis, requirements interviews, report e-business forms, operation manuals, system’s hardware construction and software installation, and education training to the system on-line process, till the last system’s formal the system maintenance, post work requirements handling, and problem Q&A. on-line in customer service handling. This aims at the problems encountered at each stage and solving methods with detailed descriptions. And at last according to case company’s launch experience, it can sort out the vital factors when the system is launched. This study shows that medium-and small-enterprises can use ERP system launch’s make-to-order production model to enhance production efficiency.
