Summary: | 碩士 === 崑山科技大學 === 電子工程研究所 === 101 === Along with the rapid development of system-on-chip(SoC)technologies, future multi-media SoCs containing both optoelectronic and wireless communication functionalities will lead to the invention of innovative products. Owing to the low noise, high-frequency-modulation capability and compactness as well as low-power consumption characteristics of the semiconductor laser, it can be used as blue and green light source for the micro-projection-display technique of future multi-media SoCs. However, a number of figures of merit, which include the internal loss, the internal quantum efficiency, and the transparency current density, etc., have not been optimized until now. In the other respect, the SiGe low-noise amplifier employing HBTs can be applied to overcome the noise produced in multi–stage amplification process of the wireless–communication part within multi–media SoCs.
