Lab data of groundwater quality including pH, EC, hardness, chloride, sulfate, ammonia, nitrate, TOC, As, Zn, Fe, Mn, Na, K, Ca and Mg were subjected to factor and cluster analysis. By utilizing principal component analysis (PCA), the identified four major principal components (PCs) representing 80% of cumulative variance are salinization, mineralization, organic pollution, and zinc dissolution. Cluster analysis results illustrated that coastal area was partially salinized as a result of seawater intrusion, and most crowded towns faced with the threat of organic pollution. Part of study area was subjected to the impact of mineralization, and zinc dissolution also influenced groundwater quality in most regions of agricultural activities and feedlots. The possible release of zinc in groundwater was pointed to the dissolution of zinc from the fertilizers and feedstuff. Ting-Nien Wu 吳庭年 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 79 zh-TW
